Hacienda Los Satos Makeover Project
BE PART OF SOMETHING SPECIAL!

We are excited to announce our makeover project to transform our sanctuary, Hacienda Los Satos into a safe and comfortable home for our amazing rescued dogs and cats. However, we need your help to make it a reality.

Our goal is to make over every area of the sanctuary, and we need your help to cover the cost of supplies, materials, and volunteers to execute the projects.

There are several ways you can get involved and contribute to this important cause:

Lead a project
- You can choose one of many projects available; from conditioning our parking area to remodeling the old barns to transform them into critical and puppy care areas. This is a great project for families, Youth groups, companies, and more.
Donate
- Every dollar counts and goes directly toward the makeover project. Visit our donation page to fund a specific project or contribute to the general Sato Makeover Fund.
Spread the word
- Share our fundraising campaign with your friends and family on social media and encourage them to donate. Click on any of the links to follow us on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn and share our posts so that more people join the project.
Host a fundraising event
- Do you have a talent or skill you can use to raise money for the cause? Host a bake sale, car wash, or concert and donate the proceeds to the sanctuary makeover project.

Where to Spend the Nights Safe and Sound - General Populaion- Kennel Area #2

The mountains can get very cold at night! Our Satos need protection from the elements, this is why our main need for this area is to cover the external kennels with a retractable canopy that allows them to be cool during the day and protected from rain and cold nights.

Where Hope Starts - Puppy Nursery

Our dream is to convert this old structure into a Puppy Care Unit, where new puppies can come and be rehabilitated and treated. This area needs significant help: new roof, doors, bathroom remodel.

A Place for People to Talk about Satos
Picnic Area

We want Hacienda Los Satos to be a place where people connect with satos and the environment. Our picnic area needs a facelift, because we envision our satos spending time with our volunteers just like they would in a home.

A Parking Spot for Volunteers and Staff

We have very limited parking space. We need to make the most out of it so more volunteers and adopters can visit us.

Welcome to Hacienda los Satos Terrace

The Terrace is our first impression. We want to use this space for small gatherings and, having people spend time with our satos, just like they would in a home. We would love two seating areas and an awning or canopy to protect from the sun.

Food Prep and Everyday Storage

This is where all the work is done. Serving food, grooming, general storage, and much more. This is a crucial area that needs to be efficient and sanitary. Our satos deserve lots of care.
